Great start of the week ….

Monday morning 7:20, Susan and I are standing in the drizzling rain, waiting for a matatu. I ordered one via the universe, which wasn’t supposed be that full. 45 minutes later the Matatu arrived…. Arriving in Embu we had to get out at the upper end of the city, because the minibus didn’t hold at the bus station. It was pouring. We called our friend who picked us up and brought us to the bank. There they were so nice to me again that they would not let me go. 2 hours later, I can finally leave. Now I become a bit weak to be left alone with my challenge…. But this won’t help me, so I grumbled once and on it goes. Arriving at the construction site around noon it went on. Everyone is quite listless … I do not like that … stay cool Achim… very difficult. The ring beam is still not concreted completely. At least the electrician came. Wow, what I saw was horrbile! He put the slots for the cables at to the wrong side. It was agreed differently and he was supposed to start in another room until I would be here… It went on like this all day…. An ordinary Monday in Kenya…. No hurry….

This Country needs new men…..
This was my motto for today. After the work was done tonight, I reduced the team…
Today the ring beam is finished… amazing :), the septic tank which was digged by a new team yesterday is now finished, great performance… another team began with the plastering of the foundation and did a good job…
They still exist… the beautiful moments… the hope that still everything will be fine….
Wow, I am relaxed 😉
