End of the dry spell…6. August 2017
New school…31. August 2017
A small walk
Today Susan and I went to visit another private school. To my question how far it is to walk, she said, a little behind the Catholic Church. Okay, that’s okay, we need about half an hour to the Catholic Church. I put my sandals on and off we go. After half an hour we reached the church. We are walking quickly, on and on… Sometime I asked Susan again, how far is it?
Still a little, she answered… Ha ha ha… after another half hour we arrived at the school. Meanwhile, Susan told me that she was last time here by car and therefore did not know exactly how long it was by foot.
By car it was only a short distance…
DWe had a very interesting conversation with the school management, although the school has closed because of the summer vacation.
The week has gone by quick again. Kenyan Monday (which is then Tuesday) the corn was threshed, a wall will be built for the well, we had begun to dig now, and a lid will be installed. The kitchen was finished in the Guesthouse, the drains were connected, the water pipes were neatly connected in the main house, and leaks were repaired. Again 10,000 ltr. water were delivered today, in the storage room the shelves were installed, in the hall the end strips were fixed, the toys were concreted and many meetings have taken place…
Now there are still four days left to do some things.
We wish you all a sunny weekend…
