There are some days…5. August 2017
I got a general idea of what we have to do in the next few weeks. The water supply in the house still has potential upwards, some leaks, the corn is about to be harvested, many meetings want to be worked off, a lot of office work has to be done and so on. Thank goodness we got water delivered again at the end of the week. The corn has been harvested since yesterday. The Guesthouse is further tiled. Wood for the shelves in the storage room was delivered, but totally wet. We must first dry it before it can be processed. The fountain will still have to wait a while. Next week, work will being started on the ceiling lining and the water pipes will be optimized. I will be visiting other orphanages to learn from their guidance.
The children have school vacation. They play or help with the corn harvest all day. It makes them fun. It is so nice to see how they are interested in everything. Today they are looking forward to the church service, which starts today at 11:30. Here the Catholic Church has the same problem as in Germany. They do not have enough priests. The priests here are also divided into several municipalities, so each municipality is able to sleep longer. The weather shows itself cloudy, cool and sometimes a small shower 🙂
The weather here was not so good this week too. Partly cloudy with clear intervals. When the sun has made it through the clouds it was warm. Today it looks like a sunny day.
We wish you all a wonderful sunny day
