Last day in Mombasa

Sun, sand, beach ….. and farewell

Today was a special day. Daniela had invited all families to the beach. We had bought drinks and cookies and then we went to the beach. Except for one family they all came. The kids were out of control. Some of them were for the first time at the sea, were anxious and others were not fast enough in the water. It was a successful conclusion of my brief visit to Mombasa. Then it was time for me to say goodbye. Everyone thanked me very much and invited me to visit again. Photos were made and then we went to the airport. For me it was very hard to go on my journey back home and somehow I was not entirely up to me. At the airport, I had to say goodbye to my companions, Daniela, Justin and James.

Now I am back in Germany. Everyday life will hold its revival, which is still difficult for me. There is a lot to work with and work up from my journey.
In total, these were three very impressive weeks I spent in Kenya.
